About the Artist

I'm makeshift, a self-taught plush maker. In October 2022 I left my job and became a full-time artist!

I've been taking sewing seriously since 2008, which is when I started cosplaying. I used to frequent cons around Florida. Nowadays, I only make a new cosplay every couple years or so and attend Dragon*con annually.

In 2011 I began making plushies. I started with My Little Pony plushies and even designed official MLP plush for 4DE, although my designs never went into production. Eventually I branched out into making Pokemon, Neko Atsume cats, Animal Crossing villagers, and now I'm enjoying making original characters for my amazing clients.

I've come to realize that my strength in sewing both cosplays and plushies is accuracy, attention to detail, and cleanliness. I strive to make my clients happy and seek constantly to improve my skill.

I'm obsessed with Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and the Hannibal TV show.
